Our Give Us a Lift campaign has hit target – and we couldn’t be more thrilled or more grateful.
We launched our fundraising drive to replace the Hall’s disabled lift late last year. Since then we have been overwhelmed by the kindness of individuals, groups, organisations and the community of Heswall in general who have donated or raised cash.
We can now announce that our target has been reached and a brand new lift is on order.
“We’re thrilled that thanks to the generosity of so many we can again have a new, reliable lift at the Hall,” said Chair of the Board of Trustees Karen Griffith.
“It’s so important that what we offer here – the groups and classes, music and comedy nights and cinema – is accessible to everyone. We cherish our place at the heart of our community and are so thankful that that same community helped us when we needed them.”
The new lift is scheduled to be in place next month.
