Thank You!

“We want to say a huge thank you to every single person who donated, gifted or raised money for our appeal. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of people and thrilled that we managed to reach our target of £13,000 in record time,” said Chair of Trustees, Karen Griffith.

The cost of the lift was covered by donations from The Round Table, members of Heswall U3A, Arts Society Wirral and The National Lottery. Private donations came in from local care homes, regular users and members of the public  – we even had a generous anonymous gift of cash.

Now a brand new lift has been fitted, replacing the unreliable old one and ensuring everyone can have access to everything on offer here at the Hall.

And the good news doesn’t stop there.

The generous donation from The Round Table coupled with The National Lottery grant took us over our lift target. That means there is cash left over for further much needed refurbishments at the Hall – more news to follow on that shortly.

For now though do pop in and take a peek at our wonderful new lift – the result of the generosity of our wonderful community here in Heswall.
