Paul-Ronney Angel and his family of superbly talented musical miscreants have spent the last 16 years bringing the blood red & bible black music they call 'Bourbon soaked gypsy blues bop 'n' stroll' to the people.
They have released several critically acclaimed and award winning albums and toured with the likes of The Pogues and The New York Dolls. They've performed at Glastonbury, Download, Latitude, Bestival (UK), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) to name just a new. They have also hosted the legendary 'Gypsy Hotel' Club parties as a regular monthly event in London with stopovers in Berlin, New Orleans, Paris and Oslo, whilst keeping a busy UK and European touring schedule.
2019 saw the band's 2014 album 'Love, Drink 7 Death!' be nominated for Album of the Decade by Classic Rock Magazine.
The Summer of 2021 will see the release of their 5th studio album, '$nake Oi£ Engine'. Their most recent singles 'Johnny Foreigner' and 'Living in Fear' should you an idea of where the band is at the moment, or rather where the world is at the moment!
The Urban Voodoo Machine have plenty to say about where the world is at the moment but hey, you can still have a good time if if you got the blues!
Shaking a fistful of dynamite and a death rattle....towards the powers that be!
