Gayton Room

This is our largest room with the capacity to seat 180 people theatre style.

It’s perfect for a wide variety of events including, weddings, parties, theatre productions, concerts, conferences, presentations, craft fairs, exercise classes, dances and large meetings. 

This room has a very large stage with excellent audio-visual equipment and full stage lighting to ensure the success of your event. A key feature of the room is its large sunken sprung floor with flexible flat and raised seating areas around the edges.

Hurton Room

Gayton Suite

By opening the acoustic soundproof walls between the Gayton and Hurton rooms, this becomes our main function suite. The Gayton Suite is perfect for weddings and receptions, parties, dinner dances, formal dinners, theatre productions, concerts, conferences, trade/craft fairs and much more. It offers all the benefits of the Gayton Room but with a larger capacity.

Alexander/Barnston Suite

Opening the acoustic soundproof walls between the Alexander and Barnston Rooms creates an ideal function room for classes, meetings and children's parties. The suite connects to the kitchen making it ideal for preparing party food on site. This suite can also accommodate a small bouncy castle.  The Alexander/Barnston suite offers all the benefits of the Alexander Room but with a larger capacity.

Dressing Rooms 

We have two dressing rooms, separated by a folding room divider which can be opened into one. 

The larger section is approximately 4m x 5m and the smaller section is approximately 3.5m x 5m.   Together they have two toilets and a wash basin. 

This room is ideal for:

  • performers during theatrical productions and concerts.
  • weddings and other parties as a changing room.
  • exercise or dance classes
  • a small meeting area or syndicate room seating up to 12 people.

Other Facilities 

Licensed Bar

A modern, fully stocked licensed bar is available for all events. It combines competitive prices and friendly staff.  We can provide “welcome” drinks for your guests on arrival and will discuss all your requirements with you when you book. 
  

Catering

Included in the hire of the hall is the use of our fully equipped 5-star rated professional kitchen. So, whether you are doing your own catering or using external providers you will have all the facilities you need.

Gayton Room
A large drop-down projector screen is positioned near the front of the stage.
There is a fixed roof projector and you can plug your laptop/AV presentation device into this system at the side of the stage.
To ensure ease of use we can provide a wireless ‘presenter’, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.
Linked into the system is a DVD player.  

Hurton Room

A drop-down projector screen is available together with a fixed roof projector.   You can plug your laptop/AV presentation device into this system.

Audio

Gayton Room
There is a fully versatile Sound System with fixed loudspeakers on the proscenium arch and two smaller loudspeakers that can be moved to four other positions in the room. Stand, handheld, tie-clip and ear microphones are available.
Your music can be played from a CD player and there are audio inputs for your own player/i phone/tablet/laptop,etc. 

Hurton Room

There is a sound system with fixed loudspeakers.  Microphones are available.  Music can be played from a CD or DVD player and there are audio inputs for your own player/iphone/tablet/laptop etc.

Alexander Room

There is a sound system with fixed loudspeakers.  Microphones are available.  Music can be played from a CD or DVD player and there are audio inputs for your own player/iphone/tablet/laptop etc.

Stage Lighting

The stage is lit by a strong ‘daylight’ dimmable system.
Should you require Theatre style lighting, there are sound and light ‘packages’ available which will be discussed with you when you book the hall.
