'The Humbolt Current'
A talk by Jeff Clarke, Ecologist.
This talk explores the Humboldt Current and its amazing diversity of birds and marine mammals as well as the natural influences it has on the coastal landscapes of Chile and Peru. Our journey begins in sub-Antarctic Punta Arenas before travelling thousands of miles north to the arid desert of the Atacama. Along the way we will encounter iconic tubenoses and mighty whales that gather to feast on one the planet’s most productive cold currents.
Admission to the AGM is free but donations are welcome for the talk. All welcome.
