The Gayton Suite
By opening the acoustic soundproof walls the Hurton Room and Gayton Room become the Gayton Suite which is suitable for larger functions such as wedding receptions, anniversaries, parties, dinner dances, formal dinners, and theatre productions, conferences, trade fairs and much more.
The Gayton Suite can cater for 150 people banquet style or 250 theatre style.
The Gayton Room
Comprises the Main Hall with use of the stage. A key feature of the room is its sunken sprung floor with raised walkway around the edge.
The Main Hall measures 15.8m x 9.0m and the stage has an acting area of 6.1m x 10.9m.
The Gayton Room is perfect for conferences, presentations, dances, exercise classes and theatre productions in the round and from the stage.
The room can seat 180 people theatre style and 90 seated at tables.
The Gayton Room and Suite have state of the art audio/visual equipment and full stage lighting to ensure the success of your business seminar or stage production.
The Hurton Room
An ideal space for holding meetings, children’s parties, exercises classes and smaller functions.
The room measures 6.7m x 10.9m
The Alexander Room
Measuring 6.7m x 7.7m is suitable for meetings, art classes and bridge clubs. Audio/Visual equipment is available.
The Barnston Room
Measuring 6.7m x 5.1m is suitable for smaller meetings and activities such as bridge.
By opening the acoustic soundproof walls in the Alexander and Barnston Rooms creates in ideal room for children's parties. The room is attached to the kitchen so you can prepare the party food on site. The Room can accomodate a small bouncy castle.
A fully stocked licensed bar is available for events and your requirements can be discussed with the Hall Manager or Licensee. We can also provide a wide range of wines and champagnes to ensure your event is successful.
A recently refurbished kitchen is available for self-catering by hirers or by external caterers.

A large drop-down projector screen is positioned near the front of the stage.
There is a fixed roof projector and you can plug your laptop/AV presentation device into this system at the side of the stage.
To ensure ease of use we can provide a wireless ‘presenter’, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.
Linked into the system is a DVD player.
There is a fully versatile Sound System with fixed loudspeakers on the proscenium arch and two smaller loudspeakers that can be moved to four other positions in the room. Stand, handheld, tie-clip and ear microphones are available.
Your music can be played from a CD player and there are audio inputs for your own player/i phone/tablet/laptop,etc.
The stage is lit by a strong ‘daylight’ dimmable system.
Should you require Theatre style lighting, a fully digital system is installed. This must be booked in advance. You may also book an Audio Visual technician at an extra charge
